Skordle Terms of Service

Effective July 26, 2026

Skordle is a word-guessing game you play inside Discord as an Activity, developed and operated by MDHD ("we", "us"). By launching or playing Skordle, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use Skordle.

Using Skordle

Skordle is only accessible through Discord, so you must have a Discord account in good standing and meet Discord's own Terms of Service (including its age requirements) to use it. Your use of Discord itself remains governed by Discord's terms and policies, not these ones.

How data collection works here

Playing Skordle involves us storing your Discord profile info and game history. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what's collected, why, and how to have it deleted.

Acceptable use

While using Skordle, you agree not to:

We may suspend or terminate access for anyone who violates these terms, at our discretion.

The game itself

Skordle's word lists are original and curated by us. Daily answers are fixed once determined and don't change after the fact, even if the underlying word list is edited later. We may adjust gameplay parameters (such as the number of allowed guesses) over time.

No warranty

Skordle is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the game will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue Skordle, in whole or in part, at any time.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, Skordle. Skordle is a free, independently-run hobby project, not a commercial product backed by a company.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Skordle after a change means you accept the updated terms.
